Policy And Release

Every client will be asked to read and sign Groom N Dogs policy agreement prior to the first appointment. Client will hereby entrust their pet(s) to Groom N Dogs for the purpose of grooming services.

Due at time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards. Return checks NSF will have a $25.00 charge plus any other fee the bank may charge.

The appointment times are approximate and may be delayed d/t traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will inform you at the earliest opportunity of any schedule disruption. If client is unable to keep an appointment, please contact us 24 hours in advance so that we may fill your spot. A $25.00 trip fee will be charged if Groom N Dogs shows up and you miss your appointment. Groom N Dogs will attempt to make a 24 hour reminder call prior to your appointment.

We cannot tolerate flea and tick infestation. If a few fleas and/ or ticks are found, Groom N Dogs will bathe your dog with a flea and tick shampoo first in order to maintain sanitation of the salon. There will be an additional charge of $25.00 added to the already agreed upon grooming charge. Harsh chemicals are never used, but there may still be an allergic reaction to this type of shampoo. Client will not hold Groom N Dogs responsible for these effects. We will not accept dogs that are completely infested with fleas and ticks because we feel they should be treated by your veterinarian.

Note – These treatments are not 100% guaranteed effective to completely eradicate fleas and ticks. We cannot perform grooming on pets with open sores, cuts, or wounds because this could further harm your pet.

Client consents that Groom N Dogs may take before and after pictures so they may be used for advertising purposes. Please let us know if you do not wish any pictures taken.

Client must inform Groom N Dogs if their pet has bitten anyone or has any aggressive behaviors. Groom N Dogs will not accept aggressive dogs. If your pet displays any aggressive behaviors when grooming begins, Groom N Dogs has the right to refuse services. We always keep the safety of your pet as well as ours as the first priority. We reserve the right to muzzle a dog only if extremely necessary for safety.

Grooming can be more stressful to an elderly or ill pet. This can put them at a greater risk of accident or injury. These pets will be groomed only for cleanliness and comfort. Occasionally, grooming may expose a hidden medical problem or aggravate a current one. Groom N Dogs will report any concerns to owner and Groom N Dogs will not be held liable for any outcome of those findings.

I, the undersigned, understand and agree to the above terms for grooming services of my pet(s). I agree to hold Groom N Dogs harmless of any and all damage, loss, or claims to pet, personal or real property.

I acknowledge that interpretation of these policies is to be read in the broadest sense and encompasses any real or preceded negligence and all acts performed reasonable within scope of service by Groom N Dogs.

Groom N Dogs will exercise all due responsible care to prevent injury or illness to owner’s pet(s). However, in the event of illness, injury or death, the owner and said responsible person of pet will not hold liable the owner, Mary Sawyer of Groom N Dogs Mobile Salon, LLC for such instances.

I, the undersigned, have read, understand and agree to the above terms as stated in the agreement for the services of pet grooming through Groom N Dogs Mobile Salon, LLC.
